It would be interesting to be able to add custom tags to the articles.

We need this because, on our platform, some articles are intended for different types of users depending on their role. For example, we distinguish between admins and contributors. Custom tags would help us better identify and organize articles based on the target audience, both for internal management and for users navigating the Help Center.
This use-case should be resolved implemented. We've introduced User Roles, which allow you to restrict article access to specific users. Apart from that it's also now possible to filter articles in the admin area by the user role. This should solve the admin issues you have.
