Widget feedback
I’ve gathered some feedback after using the widget more extensively. Overall the experience is strong, but there are a few improvements that could enhance usability and consistency.
1. AI thinking state text
When the AI is processing, it ends with “connecting”.
→ Suggestion: replace with a more human-friendly state (e.g. “Thinking…”, “Generating answer…”, etc.)
2. Widget size
The widget feels too small in its current format.
→ Suggestion: allow resizing or offer a larger default view.
3. Article citations visibility
When the AI references articles, they are not clearly visible or easy to access.
→ Suggestion: make cited sources more prominent and easier to open directly from the chat.
4. Language synchronization
When our platform switches to English, the widget remains in French instead of following the platform language.
→ Suggestion: sync widget language with platform language or add EN/FR toggle inside the widget.
5. AI feedback message translation
Would it be possible to make the “Was this response helpful?” message customizable or translatable? Our platform is in French, so it’s important for us to be able to localize this part of the AI assistant experience.
